The Hiv Vereniging is actively involved in research on various topics regarding HIV. We give feedback, share calls for participants, or participate as an advisor. In this article we share a call for participation in an information video about hiv and cervix cytology.
Women with HIV need to do a cervix cytology on the gynecology department. At AmsterdamUMC they perceive that for some women this is a difficult visit with a lot of shame and insecurity feelings. Besides this feelings, it is not always clear why a check-up is necessary and who it works. This create a lot of unnecessary stress for this appointment.
Information video
Doctors at the AmsterdamUMC would like to make this less stressful with an information video about cervix cytology and HIV. They would like to explain why it is necessary and who it works. They hope so to reduce some stress about this subject.
Interested?
They are looking for 2 women who will help them with the content of the video and would like to participated in the video as well. The video will be in Dutch and English. If you are familiar with one language it is fine as well.
